This bridge does its job in utilitarian fashion. Just emerging from a grueling months long resurfacing, it still clanks and jolts as one drives onto from either side. It’s a bridge!

The MAPLE st. Bridge has been an Icon thru the various endeavours of time.TOLL BRIDGE 50 TO 75 CENTS back n the day.To help pay for maintenance.Awsome walkway very scenic but noisy.Ive seen its history unfold .Construction cost n the people having to pay for over run $.Too long; finally voted out we had our bridge.It saves alot of time comuteing n ware n tear on other streets.Easy axis from dwntwn to n.side n from main Highway.like a mini N. S. Freeway.Traffic accidents decreased n congested dwntwn traffic made it easier for shoppers n visitors to get around too.Expo n holidays especially.Thankyou Spokane for my life history.Rhondas Fired Up n Out to my city n Friends on FB.

Also known as the bridge from downtown to felony flats, it is a great place to get run over by a car or mugged! If you're lucky enough to walk along this bridges chain link wrapped walk way, you'll catch great views of the river and downtown as you peer through. . . the chain link fence.
