Village on Main is better than it was 8 years ago. Still could use a better cleaning of areas such as the elevator ceilings and better floors for the senior side. Great service guy, Pedro. Going to have to move if they keep raising my rent every six months. Horrible.

It's impossible to get ahold of these people. They don't return voicemails or missed calls on the corporate or property-level. You have to call so many times to get just 1 answer. There are also times when they say they're passing info along and never do anything (I found out after calling again after a while, and they hadn't done something they said they would).Same with the "emergency" maintenance they hired, which is even a bigger problem. I can see a ton of possible legal issues with them for landlords, and I feel so bad for the residents that still live there; we got out as soon as possible.

They raised my rent $500 without any upgrades to my apartment. My wages haven't increased. Unbelievable!*Edit* it's actually nearly a $600 increase!! which was a 40% increase! Ive called my property management and I'm told they have no answers and to call corporate who tell me to call my property management who doesn't have the answers to begin with. Me and many other families are displaced because of this sudden and insane increase without warning!!

I’m in one of your properties in Lancaster, Ca and your company is on slumlord status. I complained to your company a couple of months ago about the on going issue that I’ve been dealing with for well over one year now. I HAVE ROACHES IN MY REFRIGERATOR AND DISHWASHER; EVERY NOW AND THEN I SEE ONE OR TWO RUN BEHIND MY STOVE. And these old appliances was here before I moved here. I can not store proper food in the refrigerator and the management refuse to remove them out of this unit! And I refuse to store food in that roach infested refrigerator and wash dishes in a roach infested dishwasher. I was wasting my money running the dishwasher just to kill roaches. They are aware of the issue and the new manager informed me that they will fix the gasket but since the refrigerator is still working they can not remove it; although it’s roaches in the engine of the refrigerator. I don’t have roaches crawling in my unit at all, but management wants to insult my intelligence and say that my unit has to be sprayed before they can move forward on an issue that is literally killing me. Last Tuesday I broke down my unit so the exterminator could spray (I’m still going to do what management says to resolve this problem) and the key they gave him was not the key to my unit so my unit never got sprayed. I called them that morning to make sure everything was okay before I left and you’d think they’d have the sense to call me and tell me the key didn’t work. When I got home there was no tag saying that he was there so I called the next morning for the management to tell me that no he didn’t and they asked me for another key to my unit. I have given them at least 5 keys since I lived here. What are they doing with the keys?! This is no way the new managers fault because they just got here barely a month ago. I asked her can she just have maintenance come and take these items out of the unit and they keep telling me no! Anyway I STILL sprayed my unit because it was already broken down although as I said there is no roaches crawling around my unit. Two of the three units attached to mines is infested bad; the other one was too, but the tenant moved out so they treated that unit. It’s hundreds of dead roaches in my kitchen globe and it looks disgusting. I had a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2017 and I was instructed by my neurologist to keep my blood pressure normal and do not stress. For over a year all I do is eat unhealthy food do to the roach infestation in the refrigerator that they will not move and cry and pray. My blood pressure has been sometimes stroke level and never normal. California has a law that NO tenant should live with roaches. I have contacted everyone I can including the health department. They acknowledge traces of roaches in my kitchen appliances, but none in any other parts of my unit so they said they couldn’t do anything. But they were from Africa and I’m pretty sure grew up in worser conditions, but this is America and we do not eat food that roaches have crawled on. I even told them that appliances or not even mandatory in apartments so please remove them and they still refuse to. The only reason that I have not set them outside is because if someone comes and steal them then I’m going to be responsible for them. I can’t find the proper number to HUD because they subsidize our rent and will drop their funding on this building if they knew we were living like this. With the subsidy of HUD your company receives at least $1500 a unit and we have to live in these conditions. I knew the old manager Ms. Lawanda was up to no good; selling units to people and looking for a reason to put us out so she could profit, but now that she’s gone and management is aware of everything what has nothing been done? My apartment is Sierra Villa East in Lancaster, CA. I am leaving this comment incase I fall ill and die my children will have something to back them in a lawsuit. When I call your office no one ever answers, since the last time I spoke with someone. 4,5 inspections and they still haven’t fix anything only emergency calls.

Pipes froze in my building due to the contractor they hired leaving heat off. Apartment flooded and nothing has been done in over a month. Restoration company was in and out in less than a week but this management company hasn't done anything to get my apartment repaired and livable again. They raise rent by using hidden fees and other shifty underhanded practices. If I could give a negative start rating I would. Not impressed at all.
