The facility was mediocre to say the least. We were charged over $400 per night for the room that didn't even have free coffee or water. In fact, the whole hotel didn't have free morning coffee- or any refreshments, including water, which I've never seen in my numerous trips across US and all around the world. The stinginess of this chain is unsurpassed. You're charged through the roof for the most basic stuff. Expect a bare minimum of toiletries in the bathroom and bad food in the hotel restaurant. Ordered simple hummus and it was oversalted to the point of not being edible- had to send it back. The location is by the highway (traffic noise and pollution) and not walkable to anything. They charge $30 per night to park your car - make sure you check your invoice if they promised you free parking! Absolutely underwhelming, disappointing experience- will never stay in a Hilton hotel ever again.

We came for a weekend getaway and largely enjoyed our stay!The resort is close to many tourist spots - 10-minute drive from beaches, 10-to-15-minute drive from eateries and bars, and 20-minute drive from Carlsbad and the outlet.The resort is small with a pool and two jacuzzis. There is no BBQ set, tennis court, or basketball court. The gym is small but fully functional. I used the gym early in the morning (~6:30am), and there was only one other person.The room is very spacious - our room was on the third floor overlooking a jacuzzi. There is a coffee maker, a fridge, an iron, but no microwave. Coffee maker worked fine, and one can get coffee from the breakfast/bar on the ground in the morning.Our check-in agent - M - wasn’t the friendliest. She wasn’t able to locate our reservation after I have provided my ID and e-room key on the app. Maybe it was the reservation system that confused her; we didn’t feel welcomed. Other agents were all very nice, and we appreciated their help.Overall, 4.5/5 resort.

Blaire, who checked me in at the front desk was amazing. She was professional, answered all my questions, and expedited the check in process. One main problem as I checked out occurred when I noticed that my final bill showed a charge of $60 for the dining room. I informed the front desk this was NOT MY CHARGE. The front desk informed me that they were still going to charge my credit card but would take note that I had challenged the charge. I refused to accept this decision, asked a front desk employee to go to the dining room and investigate. Sure enough someone had listed my room number instead of their own. As the dining room does not verify room number charges with room occupants I assume this happens often. There should be a policy that requires individuals who dine in the dining room to verify that they are the room occupant! The front desk issued a new invoice minus the incorrect charge but it wasn't without me insisting they check with the dining room before I paid the invoice! I suggest when staying at this Hilton you thoroughly check your invoice!

Room was very fresh and clean, the large 55 inch TV with crystal clear image was a big plus because usually hotels seem to cheap out on the most of the time in my experience. The pool area was just beautiful, and also quiet and peaceful. Also the fact that they are pet friendly was a huge selling point. Loved it here, was also very affordable 👍

We stayed here for one night in a large courtyard facing room with a balcony and view of the pool and hot tub. The grounds are beautiful with lots of plants and hibiscus, a large outdoor seating area with fire pits and an outdoor bar area. It’s a great hotel for a group to stay at with lots of indoor and outdoor common areas. The pool and hot tub were heated perfectly. Most of the large pool depth is 3.5 feet which is perfect for kids.The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. While this is an older 3 story hotel, most of the property is newly renovated with the one exception being the bathrooms, windows and doors in the rooms. Regardless, the beds and pillows were clean and very comfortable. The only cons would be the steep parking price and that it was right off the freeway so a little noisy. We decided to skipped the paid hotel breakfast. There is no place super close to walk to, but it’s few miles from Del Mar and Torrey Pines and we found it perfect for our needs. The rate was reasonable and I would stay again. Also, the staff were great, very cheery!
