Hospital north and south tower is very outdated with the rooms being as well. It's dirty and old. Very unpleasant. Beside that my father got the worse nursing care post -op and was unattended to. The hospital and nursing is very unorganized, and many things do not work as they should. Like when we were discharged pharmacy delivery system was not working I had to walk all the way to the Pavillion pharmacy to get my fathers medication post op upon discharge. It's unheard of. Ice machine does not work. It's a mess and from what I herd it's suppose to be the best hospital... I would give it a zero star if I could.

I really wanted to leave this hospital a good review but unfortunately I was harassed by Patricia, a nurse that was looking for someone with the same name as myself, and a security guard with the last name of Santos( he showed me his badge when I asked for Patricia's last name )He was adamant that he would not get in trouble for telling me to leave the hospital because I wore the plastic grey gloves that were visibly free as you wait in line to check in. The team of abusers rushed up to me as I was minding my own business with my sick child. They had no idea that I had already visited their hospital 2 days earlier because I was ill myself. I wore the same grey plastic gloves for 5 hours and not one nurse, volunteer or doctor had a problem with it. So why the uproar on this particular day? Yesterday, Friday January 20,2024 around 1:20 pm , my son and I were purposely targeted and told to leave the hospital if I did not comply to their demands. I enjoyed watching the TV monitor when I previously went to Cedar - Sinai. There was information about how discrimination was not tolerated and how the hospital encourages a peaceful environment with equality. We were sadly let down and bullied. I paid $20 dollars for parking that I was told could not be validated as I was lead outside right after being searched, and I was very cooperative with the security team. I then tried to call the director of the emergency department, Claude Stang , but to no avail. I was given the run around, and the phone operators were incompetent, not knowing Mr. Stang's email or personal voice mail. Patricia then followed me outside and took a picture of me after I was told that pictures and videos were not allowed in the hospital. So what exactly is her team trying to cover up ? Possibly corruption from the other reviews I have read about neglect at this hospital. I would like to say that the doctor I had on January 18th around 5 am and the male nurse gave me excellent service. I went ahead and took a picture of Patricia and her toxic staff . I will find out the name of this tall nurse with blonde hair that initiated the harassment with Patricia and Mr. Santos.

Dr. Kenneth Kim was my surgeon. Not only is he a great doctor but he has a wonderful bedside manner. The nurses, the doctors, the anesthesiologist and everyone I encountered during my outpatient surgery was great. They answered all of my questions and exhibited such compassion. I feel very fortunate to have had my surgery there.

Shameful the trash on floors on the 6th floor South Tower as well as the bathroom. Makes you consider the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility. I am only posting one photo but there could be many more

Husband was a patient there for 22 days on 8th floor. I stayed in the room with him for 11 days. One of the nurses found me a recliner to sleep in - with pillows and blankets. The nurses, clinical partners, specialists and hospitalists are caring, knowledgeable and amazing. All of the staff we worked with were top notch! He got great care and so did I. He wasn't just another patient, he (we) were treated like family.
