Our family had my brother’s, Gary Sherlin, Celebration of Life at this church. It was absolutely beautiful. I am very thankful for the love & kindness that was shown to my family.

Beautiful structure located one block off Broadway. The interior offers a warm yellow hue of natural, stained glass filtered light. Magnificent wood work surrounding the massive organ. Tutor style interior wall design. Good acoustics but a little echo.

I love this place because you don’t have to “fit” to belong.Acceptance of diversity is my definition of loving all, and the people at Central truly embrace all. My Central Family continually amazes me as they help me in my personal journey as a Christian. You just have to experience it to believe it!

Riding a bicycle across the country and I saw this church on my route. I gave them a cal to see if I could get some shade in they're parking lot and they opened their doors to me. They gave me a fantastic tour of the oldest church in Knoxville and even let me use their shower! Amazing people.
